Qualifications and Special Interests

I hold a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of British Columbia and have been in the counselling profession since 2014. I spent many years working in both private and non-profit community services and am excited to now be able to also work with people through private practice.

I work with individuals from adolescence to adulthood, and I am experienced working with a wide variety of issues, with a special focus on anxiety, depression, substance misuse, disordered eating, and interpersonal challenges.

I am registered, "In Good Standing", with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (#13494). This professional body, and its rigorous ethical guidelines, govern my practice.

I am a member of the British Columbia Association of Social Workers, and I am on the approved counsellor registry with a number of organizations, including the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP), ICBC, and Blue Cross Medavie.

My services are covered for individuals covered by either of these organizations. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information regarding this coverage.

Registered Social Workers are often covered by extended health benefits, please check with your insurance provider.
